Introduction

Ingredients (serves 4)
- 12 lasagna sheets
- 500 g minced meat (beef and pork)
- 1 onion
- 2 carrots
- 1 celery stalk
- 700 ml tomato sauce
- 500 ml béchamel sauce
- 200 g grated Parmesan
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Step by Step Instructions
1. Make the meat sauce
Chop onion, carrot, and celery, sauté in olive oil. Add minced meat and brown. Pour in tomato sauce, season, and simmer 40 min.
2. Prepare béchamel
Melt 50 g butter, stir in 50 g flour. Slowly add 500 ml hot milk, stirring until smooth. Season with salt.
3. Assemble lasagna
Grease a baking dish, layer béchamel, lasagna sheets, meat sauce, and Parmesan. Repeat layers, finish with béchamel and Parmesan.
4. Bake
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 35–40 min. Rest 10 min before serving.

- Vegetarian option: replace meat sauce with roasted vegetables.
- Add mozzarella for extra gooey layers.
